The Rev. John K. Amah is a servant of God with a special burden for young people and families. He has a special calling and training in these areas. He is the Senior Pastor of the vibrant Assemblies of God Church, (Solution Centre), Shogunle-Ikeja in Lagos. He is the current District Secretary of the Lagos District Assemblies of God, Nigeria.
He Directs the Amah World Outreach (AWOR) and Amah Resource Centre (ARC), which focuses on empowering Gods people world wide through seminars, conferences, revivals, tapes, books and recently through television programme.
Dr. Amah qualified as a Civil Engineer before he was called into full time Pastoral Ministry. He went all the way to obtain a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling (M.Ed) and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D) in Counseling Psychology all from the University of Ibadan, Nigerians Premier University. He is an alumnus of the Haggai Institute for Advance Leadership, Maui in Hawaii, USA. He received further training at the Permanent School of Prophets in Muar-Johor, Malaysia. He is a member of the United Christian Church & Ministerial Association, Cleveland in Tennessee, USA where he also received further ministerial training.
For more than 14 years, he was the Lagos District Youth Coordinator, Assemblies of God Church, Nigeria. He also served as the National Secretary of the Youth Ministries Department of the General Council of Assemblies of God, Nigeria for many years. He is currently the District Secretary for the Lagos District Assemblies of God Nigeria.
He is in hot demand as a speaker both in Nigeria and overseas. He lives in Lagos, Nigeria with his beautiful wife, Pastor Benedicta and their four lovely and promising children.
